It was one of the many ritual of hers. Some might call her a loser. Some might think what she was doing was funny. Some might even join in with her, but this is what she did at the mall. She didn't SHOP! You crazies, she danced in the food court with a french fry or two in her mouth. A total embarassment to her parents if they'd seen her. Not like she cared much. The brunette danced in her black ballet flats, a black dress with blue horizontal stripes on it and black leggings that ended an inch below her knees. The brunette's hair flew around like crazy as the girl alternated from headbanging to spinning around in circles to just shaking her hips and staying pretty calm. It was a weird sight to see, since no music was even on, although if one cared enough, they'd see white earphones in the girl's ears and a black iPod in the girl's delicate hand.
For people who went to the mall every friday night, they were used to this girl dancing alone in the food court in front of Bamboo's Chinese. But for people who didn't go to the mall that often, she usully scared off Bamboo's customers. It was live entertainment for anyone who enjoyed watching the random girl dance for reasons unbeknownst to the people at the mall. Oh yes, pure entertainment.

"Hello?" Diego said into his phone. Great, the line's gotten cut off.., he thought, sighing deeply. It usually happens, whenever he's in the mall. It's strange, actually, especially when everyone else can have a good phone conversation for 5 minutes, yet he can barely manage 20 seconds. He slipped the phone into his pocket, with a small yawn. The mall is always boring whenever he comes. Every thursday night, while he's dad's out to a casino, since he's too young, he just goes to the mall, gets back in an hour or so.
But today, he decided to go on a Friday. It seemed just a boring. Obviously, he just wanted to trick someone. Duh. Just as he was about to leave, he happened to glance over in the direction of Bamoo's Chinese. No, he wasn't hungry. He could see...something. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he went out to see.
He travelled out into the food court to see some random female dancing around. "Strange." He could tell that, obviously, she wasn't being hired to dance. That's the sort of thing that Diego liked. Or rather, liked to do. "Hey, erm, I don't exactly see you doing this every time I come here." he said, in a slight, yet recognizable British accent.
